Venous ulcers

One of the more troublesome long-term consequences of varicose veins is a breakdown of the skin near the ankles. This painful condition is known as a venous stasis ulcer.

We like to see these patients before things get this bad. At the Total Vein Treatment Center we’ll use compressive therapy to treat the ulcer and then treat the underlying varicose vein problem to help prevent recurrence.
