Dr. Locastro, the director of the Total Vein Treatment Center, has dedicated his practice to vein treatment since 2002.

One of the first physicians in the country to use laser treatment to treat varicose veins, Dr. Locastro was among the first group of physicians to be certified by the American Board of Phlebology, and one of only a handful of physicians in the country to be Board Certified in both General Surgery and Phlebology.

Dr. Locastro also has extensive credentials with both the use and interpretation of vascular ultrasound. This allows him to diagnose and treat varicose veins safely and effectively.

He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). To be a member of this organization a surgeon must demonstrate the ability to stay up to date on the newest treatments and technologies, and up to date on current literature.
